Originally from Derby, UK, where he won multiple state junior titles, and was ranked top #100 nationally, Cal moved to the US to pursue college tennis. He played at nationally ranked school Lees McRae college for two years, earning conference honors, before transferring to Newberry College.

Cal is a certified RSPA (Racquet Sport Professional Association, formerly USPTA) Elite professional, and has been teaching tennis for 15 years. He works with players of all ages and abilities, ranging from beginner children, to advanced adults. 

As the Director of Racquets at Omni Barton Creek Country Club, he has a growing social media presence in Let’s Learn Tennis, offering tips for all levels of players!
